Amanda Ennis is a Maliseet American Indian residing in Maine. She learned basket weaving from Sarah Sockbeson. This tradition dates back to the 1800s and has been handed down through generations. Today, Amanda’s baskets are featured in the Abbe Museum in Bar Harbor.
