Navajo artist Boyd Tsosi meticulously handcrafted a stunning squash-inspired necklace using vibrant coral and 14k gold. The necklace’s centerpiece is gold shaped into a squash adorned with delicate turquoise beads and interspersed with gold spacers, coral, and lapsi. In addition to the coral strands, Boyd adorned the necklace with a combination of turquoise, lapis, sugilite, and gold disks, creating a visually captivating and intricate piece of jewelry. He hand-made the gold cones and chain, then added rolled turquoise, coral, lapis, and sugilite beads, which are removable to make the necklace shorter. He also made it so the gold squash and turquoise dangle can be removed.
