Norbert Peshlakia is a Navajo jeweler from the Sheep clan. Norbert grew up in New Mexico, where his ability to paint was found.  He attended college at the University of Kansas, where he painted and discovered jewelry making. Today, Norbert says he combined painting and sculpting, and that’s how he sees his jewelry. Norbert makes all his stamps by hand and uses these designs on his jewelry, creating beautiful, wearable, one-of-a-kind pieces of art like this sterling silver ring with 14k gold overlay accenting the stamp work.
