Phil Navasya (1944 – 2022)

Phil Navasya was a Hopi jeweler who was showcased throughout the county in multiple museums. He hand-made this stunning multicolored 14k gold disk necklace with inlay. He intricately inlaid colored stones and shaped the turquoise, lapis, coral, sugilite, and opal round to form the inlaid disks. He used not only one color of gold but four, made of yellow, white, green, and rose gold, and then accented the gold necklace claps with a lapis stone. This is a perfect example of an artist’s work showing museum-quality detail you can wear or display.
