Ira Lujan is a Taos Artist known for his hand-blown glass sculpture and pottery. Ira blows the glass which is then formed into the desired shape depending on his current project. This glass jar features a Quail which acts as the lid. Ira was able to achieve the color which is ground colored glass added during the kiln fired prosses. The jar is held up with a museum mounted base which is metal.
