This is a sterling silver inlaid belt buckle by Hopi jeweler Sherian Honhongva. She is the sister to Sonwai (Verma Nequatewa) Their uncle who they studied under was Charles Loloma. This belt buckle is an inlaid styalized landscape. She inlaid this buckle with fossilized ivory, turquoise, coral, turquoise, ironwood, onyx, and 14k gold fine line gold accent bars. This is a beautiful belt buckle and she signed on the back Sherian Honhongva with a sterling silver and 14k mark.
