This incredible bolotie by Chemehuevi artist Victoria Adams is full of life, character, and storytelling. Made entirely by hand in sterling silver and gold, it features an articulated figure brought to life through intricate details through a mix of stone and metal.
The face is inlaid with ruby eyes, topped with gold antlers. The chest showcases vibrant inlay work overlaid with a fossilized ammonite shell, held gently in the figure’s hands.
The articulated legs are set with stone in tones of red, rust, and cream, adding movement and depth. A single silver and gold bag accented with a fringe of silver chain that adds both texture and motion.
Set on a black braided leather cord bolo, this is far more than a bolo tie—it’s a wearable sculpture. Every part of it speaks to Victoria Adams’ distinct voice.
