Sandy McDaniel
Sandy grew up surrounded by the artistic influences of rural Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and
started painting at an early age. Her love of horses and a passion for the West have been major
creative inspirations for her paintings.
After graduating from Pennsylvania State University Sandy moved, with her horse, to Glendale,
California to pursue a career in the visual arts, working for clients including the design firm Saul
Bass & Yager, Walt Disney Imagineering, and the Getty Museum.
Her work has appeared in galleries in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Bozeman, Montana, Las Vegas,
Nevada, and in California in Paso Robles, Ojai, and the Autry’s Southwest Museum. For the last
two decades she has spent summers in Montana riding and finding inspiration for her painting.
McDaniel currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband and fellow artist Trevor
Goring.
