Sedalio Fidel Lovato was a respected Kewa (Santo D Sedalio Fidel Lovato was a respected Kewa (Santo Domingo Pueblo) jeweler known for his handmade tufa cast silver work and precise turquoise inlay. Active primarily in the mid-20th century, Lovato signed his pieces with the hallmark “S.F.L.” His jewelry—often bracelets, cuffs, and concho belts—features bold forms, clean lines, and traditional Pueblo craftsmanship. This sterling silver pendant and chain showcase Lovato’s artistry, featuring a traditional corn stalk design inlaid with turquoise, coral, lapis, jet, and wood.
