Adams, Victoria. Silver and Gold Figure Bolotie

$18,000.00

Adams, Victoria

This incredible bolotie by Cheyenne/Arapaho artist Victoria Adams is full of life, character, and storytelling. Made entirely by hand in sterling silver and gold, it features an articulated figure brought to life through intricate details through a mix of stone and metal.

The face is inlaid with ruby eyes, topped with gold antlers. The chest showcases vibrant inlay work overlaid with a fossilized ammonite shell, held gently in the figure’s hands.

The articulated legs are set with stone in tones of red, rust, and cream, adding movement and depth. A single silver and gold bag accented with a fringe of silver chain that adds both texture and motion.

Set on a black braided leather cord bolo, this is far more than a bolo tie—it’s a wearable sculpture. Every part of it speaks to Victoria Adams’ distinct voice.

Victoria Adams – Southern Cheyenne/Arapaho

Victoria Adams is an award-winning jewelry artist and designer whose work bridges contemporary design and Native tradition. A member of the Southern Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma, Adams is known for her sculptural, symbolic jewelry that draws inspiration from ritual, memory, and the natural world.

Working primarily in sterling silver, 18k and 22k gold, and a range of natural materials—including turquoise, coral, fossilized ivory, drusy quartz, and exotic woods—Adams creates wearable forms that feel timeless and alive. Her designs often feature human and animal figures, reflecting both personal stories and cultural references, all brought to life with exceptional hand-fabrication and fine detail.

Adams describes her jewelry as “talismans of my own participation and consciousness,” and each piece carries an intentional blend of aesthetic beauty and spiritual resonance. Her themes are often inspired by her surroundings—wildlife, plants, seasonal shifts, and the horses she keeps near her California studio.

Victoria Adams’ work has earned national recognition, including a Saul Bell Design Award, and is collected by admirers of fine Native American jewelry and sculptural design.
