Cedarstaff, Victor Sterling Silver Hand Engraved Bolo Tie
$600.00
Cedarstaff, Victor
Victor Cedarstaff—the Arizona cowboy and silversmith credited with inventing the bolo tie in the 1940s—this handmade piece honors the legacy of a true American original. The tie features a brown leather cord, finished with hand-engraved designs with sterling silver tips.
Originally dubbed the “Piggin Necklet,” after a cowboy’s tool, a short piece of rope or rawhide used by cowboys to tie the legs of a calf during branding or roping. The bolo tie later adopted its now-iconic name from the South American “bola.”
