Michael Dean Jenkins Wupa ‘ ala Kachina

Michael Dean Jenkins hand carved this Wupá ‘ ala Kachina which isn’t as well known but will make an appearance during Kachina Dances around first Mesa and in Second Mesa during the Bean Dance. In his right hand, he carries sheep scapulae. The patterns are similar to the Zuni Sai-astasana and the Hopi often identify him as the Zuni Kachina.
