This sterling silver bracelet by Hopi jeweler Cha This sterling silver bracelet by  Hopi jeweler Charles Supplee is handmade using the lost wax casting technique, giving the piece its soft sculptural lines and texture. Supplee accented the bracelet with inlay of New Lander, purple sugilite, and fine silver bars, creating a vivid interplay of color.

This five-strand coral necklace was hand-strung by This five-strand coral necklace was hand-strung by Charles Loloma. He wove in pearls, turquoise, sugilite, and small 14k gold beads, creating a beautiful mix of texture and color.
The necklace is finished with a hand-fabricated 14k gold cones, and signed “Loloma” and stamped 14k.
Charles Loloma is often called the father of contemporary Native American jewelry. He had a way of blending traditional materials with a completely original vision.

Jesse added jet and gold accents to the claws, nose, and eyes, bringing the figure to life with subtle detail. Michael Kabotie (1942–2009), Lomawywesa — “W Michael Kabotie (1942–2009), Lomawywesa — “Walking in Harmony” — was a Hopi painter, jeweler, writer, and cultural leader. The son of famed artist Fred Kabotie, Michael grew up surrounded by art and tradition yet created his own path. His jewelry, like this sterling silver bracelet, combined Hopi symbolism with contemporary design, while his paintings and poetry spoke to cultural resilience and spiritual balance.

Kabotie was also a co-founder of the Artist Hopid group, which was dedicated to renewing Hopi art with modern expression. Through his creativity, lectures, and writings, he became a bridge between worlds—sharing Hopi philosophy with global audiences while inspiring a new generation of Native artists.
