Tufa cast sterling silver belt buckle by Navajo jewelers Carl and Irene Clark. The inlay depicts a stylized Navajo Yei, which is a stable design in Clark’s jewelry. The inlays consist of coral, turquoise, and lapis. jet, and mother of pearl, and is slightly raised from the sterling silver bezel. On the back of this belt buckle, there is a desert landscape design which was carved into the tufa stone, taking the shape of the molten metal after casting.
