A tufa-cast sterling silver belt buckle by Navajo jewelers Carl and Irene Clark. The inlay depicts a stylized Navajo Yei, a staple design in the Clarks’ jewelry, worked in coral, turquoise, lapis, jet, and mother of pearl and slightly raised from the sterling silver bezel. On the back, a desert landscape was carved into the tufa stone, taking its shape from the molten metal after casting.
